Bill links and payment reminders by SMS
BillSettle is a restaurant bill-splitting app. Guests can preview a bill from a QR link without creating an account. To claim items, change selections, or receive reminders, guests must enter their name and phone number and tap Continue on the bill page.
Optional opt-in at the bill page
The phone field is required before a guest can claim items for table accountability. SMS messages are optional. Guests opt in by checking the SMS reminder box on the bill page before tapping Continue.
Message frequency and content
- Message frequency varies, up to 4 SMS messages per opted-in bill.
- Messages are transactional only: bill links, payment instructions, and unpaid-balance reminders for bills where the guest opted in.
- No marketing or promotional SMS messages are sent.
- Message and data rates may apply.
